Learn about sewing, patterns, and fabric selection!

In this class, you will learn how to use your own sewing machine, pro sewing tips that can be used on any project, and of course, how to make a hilarious outfit for your pet! You may even have to clear some closet space out for your furry friend's future wardrobe. Teachers Malia and Candace are local Belltown fashion designers and have also been teaching sewing classes in Ballard since 2007.

The class meets for 4 Mondays, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, and 10/27- Just in time for Halloween!!

Learn solid sewing techniques and make a Halloween costume or stylish outfit for your fur kid! Relax with us in Belltown as you wait out the after-work traffic.

Dog Fashion Design

Wanna turn heads next time you visit the dog park? Take your dog from drab to fab! In this class, you will learn how to sew like a pro and make a stylish cover-up for your canine from scratch. Gain insights into working with stretchy knit fabrics and learn various ways to embellish your dog's sweater or t-shirt. Bring your own sewing machine and 5 stretchy garments to be re-purposed. Appropriate for beginning and experienced sewers alike. 18+
